Wow- I haven't even been back to this blog in months and it's like reading someone else's writing.
I am so happy to report that my dear daddy is doing wonderfully and is eating and enjoying life again- the way it should be. He has a new lease on life and seems to want to enjoy every second of it. There were moments in time there when we didn't think he would come out of all of it- he was so sick. One thing he has going for him is the same thing I have going for me in life- he is stubborn as a mule and isn't going down easily.
We are doing really well in Oliver land. We are off of school for xmas break- lots of eating and playing and cooking and cleaning happening. On new years eve we are going to the farm up in Grand Cane with some friends to do some bourbon drinking and fire sitting- one of our specialties.
I'm excited for the new year because I'm working on a line of hand painted lamps and will debut them sometime this spring. It's always fun to go in a new direction as an artist- keeps it exciting.
well, that's all for now- hopefully I can get back into the swing of this blog when the kids go back to school.
