My sweet sweet grandmother Eddie passed away last night.
Eddie was my grandfather's second wife, so she wasn't my biological grandmother, but they've been together since I was in High School and she quickly became very close to our entire family. You couldn't help but love her- she was tiny and loved butterflies and was just a sweetheart.
In the last few years some of the only times we saw any glimmer of her was when we'd bring the great grandchildren up to see her at St James Place. She would hear their little voices and perk up and talk to them.
She's really been gone for a while now, and I'm glad for her to be at peace. We love you Eddie!

This is a totally inappropriate comment for this post...but you'll know what I'm talking about. I love how your flickr badge shows such a wide variety of dead people.
including Lisa's dead Coal Miner's Daughter chest.
I remember Eddie from when I worked at St. James Place in college. And yes, she was very sweet. I am sorry she is gone.
