Well, we went and got another dog! He looks just like the one above except he's not a little puppy. His name is Ricky Bobby and we adopted him from a rescue org. here in BR. He's very cute, very lovable, very smart, very expressive, very scared of Maddie the cat and has very bad breath.
Ricky Bobby enjoys laying under the covers between Mom and Dad, snuggling, snuggling under the covers, being wrapped up like a burrito, sleeping wrapped up like a burrito, yawning and spreading his bad breath around, playing with Rocky, pooping, barking, eating poop, eating clay/dirt, eating pecans, eating cashews, eating everything, pooping and eating poop. We are starting to understand why he has bad breath. Any tips on that? Cause it's one of his only flaws as of now.
He LOVES me, because he's MY dog- and I love him back. The only one who loves him more than me is Rocky and I'm not sure one animal can love another animal more. I'm pretty sure if Rocky could talk he would be shouting from the rooftops his love for his new bff cause it's all he's ever hoped for. Sometimes he just lays and stares at Ricky Bobby. An occasional sigh punctuates his amorous gaze...
I think we were right that he was lonely.
We are getting lots of sideways glances from our neighbors about the new dog, but the good news about being 33 is that you can make your own grown up bad decisions.
My camera is broken so we have NO pictures of our new little guy- he really does look just like that one above though so it'll work for now!
